    Heavy Duty Tow / Landoll Lowboy Operator

    Immediate openings for the following position.

    Heavy Duty Tow Truck / Landoll Lowboy Operator position will entail hookup of disabled vehicles and safe towing to designated locations. Loading, proper securement, and transport various types of equipment on landoll trailers to customers job sites. Additional duties to include winching of stuck or immobilized vehicles and/or recovery of vehicles involved in accidents or overturned. Some mechanical knowledge required.

    This is a full time position; however we also have part-time positions available.

    Qualifications:

    • Possess valid Class A CDL and valid DOT medical certificate.
    • A minimum of three years Commercial Truck Driving experience required.
    • Clean MVR and ability pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen.

    Individuals with experience in truck towing, equipment transport, mechanical repair, welding and fabrication and/or Wreck Master or similar certification will be given a priority in the hire process.

    Tow Truck Operator 7pm-7am Overnight Shift

    Immediate openings for the following position.

    Light Duty Tow Truck Operator position entails responding to emergency towing requests from Pennsylvania Turnpike, local police departments, and commercial customers, in a prompt, professional, courteous and safe manner. Provide emergency mechanical assistance, including jump starts, tire changes, lockouts, fuel delivery, and other services as may be identified as necessary.

    This is a full time position; however we also have part time positions available.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Make sound decisions concerning the prioritization of service (e.g., safety concern, weather, and traffic) and policy exceptions.
    • Regularly handle escalated service requests, including vehicles involved in accidents, in need of winching and/or recovery that may be overturned or off the highway.
    • Maintain assigned vehicle, service equipment and uniform ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met. Reports problems with equipment or vehicle to Supervisor and/or fleet repair technicians.
    • Complete daily log sheet and truck pre-post DOT inspection sheet.
    • Handle Invoicing and collection of payment for services from customers, maintain accurate electronic or hand written field receipts.
    • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds; bend, kneel and balance to inspect vehicles and change tires for periods of five to ten minutes at a time and push vehicles on occasion.
    • Ability to operate wheel-lift or flatbed equipment, as well as the ability to utilize tow dollies, Go Jacks, or similar equipment, as necessary.
    • Ability to work mandatory overtime as necessitated by weather, call volume or other business conditions, and to work holidays as required.

    Qualifications:

    • Possess a valid class C driver’s license and valid DOT medical certificate
    • Clean MVR, ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen and criminal background check.
    • Individuals with experience in towing and recovery, mechanical repair, those possessing Wreck Master or similar certification will be given a priority in the hire process.

    Diesel/Truck Mechanic /Road Service – Part – Time

    Description – Diesel Technician / Mechanic/Road Service- Part Time

    Flexible Schedule

    Are you a current diesel technician looking for additional income working a flexible schedule nights and weekends?

    The  mobile diesel technician travels to breakdown locations,, using company supplied road service truck,  and performs minor repairs such as out of fuel, no starts, air leaks, lighting issues, brake chamber, belt and hose replacements, lift gate repairs, reefer units repairs, etc. to get our customers trucks running and back on the road in a timely manner.The diesel technician works on Class 5 – 8 diesel-powered trucks diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of trucks.

    Primary Job Responsibilities

    • Responds to road service call requests in a timely manner
    • Provides unsurpassed customer service; checks in with customer; explains work to be done and what still needs to be done.
    • Maximizes productivity by confirming problems, performing careful diagnosis and repairs, ordering parts, and determining parts needs as soon as possible.
    • Determines efficient means of getting parts to job; coordinates with dispatch, running own parts when necessary.
    • Repairs customer equipment correctly through complete diagnosis and repair; observes for unreported problems.
    • Communicates with dispatcher and customer on arrivals and departures; fills out daily paperwork completely and accurately.
    • Maintains truck and equipment by performing routine maintenance on truck, compressor and tools. Performs necessary repairs.

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate of accredited diesel technician program preferred
    • 3 or more years of experience as a diesel truck and trailer repair / service technician preferred
    • ASE heavy truck certifications preferred
    • Experience with Scan Tool diagnosis and repair
    • Must be a self-starter
    • Possess valid driver’s license, CDL preferred, and valid DOT medical certificate.
    • Clean MVR and ability pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen.

    Individuals with experience in truck towing, equipment transport, mechanical repair, welding and fabrication and/or Wreck Master or similar certification will be given a priority in the hire process.
